Choosing the right size shoe can be a little tricky, as every child develops and grows at a different pace.

Here are some tips and tricks to assist you in selecting the best size shoes for your precious little one.

• Be sure to measure both feet each time you buy a pair of shoes. (One foot will be bigger than the other!)
• Have your child stand on a piece of paper. Make sure they are standing straight, with feet shoulder width apart. (No scrunched up toes )
• Mark on the paper the back of the heel, and also at the top of the longest toe.
• Measure the distance (cm) between the two points on the paper.
• Measure the child's feet with socks, if they will wear socks with the shoes on a normal basis.
• Your child will need to be able to wiggle their toes and have at least ½ cm between the top of their toe and the end of the shoe to allow for proper growth and development. So, you need to add ½cm to 1cm to the length that you have measured. If your little one is only just starting to walk, or is a little wobbly on their feet we suggest you add ½ cm only. For older children you can add 1cm.

Should you choose an incorrect size, you may return these to Whiskers on Kittens in exchange for the correct size in the same style, within 30 days of purchase.  Shoes must be returned in their original box and condition and be unworn in order for an exchange to be given. If shoes are not in their original condition, Whiskers on Kittens will not be able to accept the return.
